He is survived by: his son Trevor Matthews; his siblings, Beverley McElhiney (late Fred) of Alberton and Charles Matthews (Darlene) of Summerside; his nieces, Tammy Fraser (Jackie), Tania Ramsay (Billy), Twila Dawn McElhiney (Randy) and Tiffany Matthews; and his nephew Troy Matthews. He is also survived by his many friends, neighbours, and cousins.
