He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude J. O'Meara and Emma M. O'Meara of Alberton; his brother Wayne; his siblings-in-law, Donna O'Meara, Ross Brennan, Keith Warren and Gary Saunders; and his nephews, Sheldon O'Meara and Rouel Ray O'Meara (Reyon).
He is survived by: his children, Jason of Halifax, Michelle of Hamilton, Melissa (Chad) of Hamilton and Ont; his grandchildren, Dakota, Jesse, Jason Ashley (Lyndsie) and Jordon; his great grandchild Skylar; his siblings, Mary Keough (Gerald) of Tignish, Raymond of Northport and Jean Warren of Charlottetown; and his close friend Priscilla. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
