We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2019, at the age of 102, Louis Eugene McCarthy (Alberton, Prince Edward Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McCarthy and Angeline McCarthy; his former wife Lillian O'Brien; his wife Jean Donahue; and his siblings, Jim (late Marion), Mary Butler (late Clarence), Gerard (late Marion), Charles (late Alice), Margaret Coffin (late Dudley), Georgie Collum (late Robert) and Albert Brown.

He is survived by: his brother Archibald McCarthy (Helen) of Charlottetown; and his brother-in-law Bill O'Brien (Marie) of Alberton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
