She was predeceased by : her husband Earl George Matthews; her father Albert; her sisters, Lorraine Winters and Winnifred Thibodeau (late Velton); and her sister-in-law Shirley McCue.
She is survived by : her brother-in-law Allan Winters of Tignish.
