Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Margaret MacKay (Alberton, Prince Edward Island), who passed away at the age of 81, on July 28, 2020. She was predeceased by : her husband James Leigh MacKay; her parents, John W. Inman and Daisy E. Inman; and her brother Harold Inman. She is survived by : her children, Douglas McNeill of Edmonton, AB, Sharon McNeill-Bologa (Rob) of Bolton, ON, Brian McNeill of Brampton, ON, Alan McNeill of Alberton, PEI and John MacKay (Stephanie) of Albany, PEI.; her grandchildren, Jay, Sarah, Keesha, Daniel, Sean Ryan and Zachary; her great grandchild Owen; and her siblings, Patricia Gallant (late Lawrence), Norma Adams (late Roy), Brenda Batherson (late Gerry), Mary McNeill (late Vance), Margaret Inman, Helen Inman, Ron Inman and Dwight Inman. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to pandemic restrictions a private funeral mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church in Alberton, PEI, on Tuesday August 4, 2020 at 10;30 a. m. Rev. Andrew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Shirley's memory would be appreciated.
