Wayne Joseph Dunn Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Joseph Dunn (Alberton, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Charles and Mina Darling Dunn; and his sibling Beverley MacDonald (late Harry) of Montague. He is survived by: his siblings, Marie Luttrell (Frank) of Roseville and Charles Dunn (Olive) of Elmsdale; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Walsh (Paul) of Summerside, Kory Dunn (Cindy) of Dock Road and Wendy MacDonald (Bruce) of Port Hawksbury, NS.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zachary Phillips, Cody Dunn, Conor Dunn and Colton Dunn; Thomas Dunn. He is also survived by his many cousins, friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rooney Funeral Home and Chapel (419 Main St, Alberton, PE C0B1B0). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (341 Main St, Alberton, PE C0B1B0).

As an expression of sympathy memorials in Wayne's memory made to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
