He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Rice and Shirley Rice (Ramsay); his siblings, Melissa Rice (Alli Saade), Danielle Nabuurs (Matt) and Morganne Rice (Cole Gallant); his nieces and nephews, Rowan Jude Rice, Avery Jane Nabuurs and Bennett Gallant; and his extended family, Coyles, Ramsays and Costains.

If you needed a loan, he would give you one; if you came to his house, you would be offered a, cold one and a home cooked meal; if there was a good cause or a friend in need, he was the first to donate; if you needed a job, he would hook you up, especially if you were willing to go west.
