He is survived by: his children, Russell (Tanya), Lavana Valen (Adam), Emma, Jason, Amanda (John) and Elsie (Jessie); his grandchildren, Shawna, Cameron, Ryan, Lexi, Russell and Ida; his siblings, Laura Dixon, Warren Acorn (Bev) and Kathryn Acorn; his daughter Janet Acorn; and his sisters-in-law, Verna and Irene Acorn.
