He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald MacDonald and Annie MacDonald; and his siblings, Joan, Anne and Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Nora; his children, Jean (Doug), Patricia (Derek), Julie (Ross), Michael (Amanda), Andrea, Robert and Mark (Chelsea); his sisters, Geraldine and Noreen MacDonald; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Mirren, Eryn Trevors, Caelan, Elise Burke, Emma, Kerris Gibaut and Cappur Macdonald.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Church (4279 Chapel Rd, Cardigan, PE C0A1G0). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Church (4279 Chapel Rd, Cardigan, PE C0A1G0). A burial was held on Monday, September 2nd 2024 at the All Saint's Parish Cemetery (4279 Chapel Rd, Cardigan, PE C0A1G0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to All Saints Church, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, or a charity of the donor's, choice.
