With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Abraham George Zakem (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on October 27, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Zakem and Haniya Zakem. He is survived by: his wife Laura Zakem (Rashed); his children, Tony, Nofa DiBacco (Aldo), Philip (Karen), Anne Zakem and Yvonne McInnis (John); his grandchildren, Rachel, Mark, Colin Zakem, Julia, Matthew, Sabrina, Daniella, Vanessa DiBacco, Brianna, Zachary Zakem, Logan McInnis and Eric MacPhail Zakem; and his siblings, Jean Rashed (Labeeb "Larry), Elias "Louie" Rashed (Faida) and Souhail "Cy" Rashed (Amal).
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Members of the Cardinal McGuigan Council #7748 of the Knights of Columbus will hold a prayer service at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (PEI).
