Alan Laughland Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Alan Laughland of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Alan, born on June 24, 1944, passed away on August 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Alan for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Laughland and Winnifred Laughland (Moser); his former wife Laraine Laughland (Beauchamp); his wife Carol Elaine Laughland (Spicer); and his brother Laurie Laughland.

He is survived by: his daughter Lori Laughland (Michael Butler); his stepdaughters, Donna Walker (Alan), Lori Kays (Doug Hurry) and Heather Kays; and his brothers, David Laughland (Joanne) and Peter Laughland (late Julie). He is also survived by grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
