We announce the death of Alexander M. MacPhee (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his daughter Brenda Stahr (Jim); his daughter-in-law Isabel; his parents, Richie MacPhee and Clara MacPhee; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Vi Frizzell; his siblings, Drucilla Ward, Angus and Wayne; and his brother-in-law Gage Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his sons, Brian (Tracey), Ricky (Agnes) and Kent (Michelle); his grandchildren, Taunya Madden (Mike), Steven Stahr, Ambyr Campbell (Brent), Alicia Odom (Bryan), Brodie, Emily White (Kuri), Connor and Sophie; his sister Heather Dixon; and his sisters-in-law, Muriel Campbell and Heather MacDonald. He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Burnside Presbyterian Church.
