He was predeceased by: his sister Darlene Conway Mike. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his children, Kim and Emily White (Kuri); his siblings, Beverley Doyle (late Jack), Reg Flanagan (Eileen) and Darrell Flanagan; and his siblings-in-law, Wilfred "Tack" McKenna, Helen Bradley and Dianne Armstrong (Donnie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
