He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Cassista and Daphne Cassista; and his siblings, Bobby Cassista, Janet Cassista and Donna Hill.

He is survived by : his wife Marie; his children, Robert (Shana) and Jennifer (Chris); his grandchildren, Dan, Emily, Addison and Katrin; his siblings, Diane Felske (Lou) and David Cassista (Linda); and his sister-in-law Faye Cassista.
