He was predeceased by: his parents, Aileen Johnston (Harris) and Ernest Johnston; and his siblings, Avard and Verleen Wickstrom. He is survived by: his wife Muriel; his children, Vickie Johnston-Wong and Paul Johnston; his daughter-in-law Charlotte (Stephen O'Brien); and his siblings, Harris (late Shirley), Gayle, Lane (Joe Sampson) and Lynanne (Peter Love). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of AJ may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
