She was predeceased by: her spouse Roland Franklin Matheson; her parent Mary Gallant; her granddaughter Sherri Lynn Wheatley; her sister Margaret Wilson; and also Francis Gallant.

She is survived by: her child Deborah Wheatley (Norman); her grandchild Kelly MacDonald (Darcy); her great grandchildren, Gabriel MacDonald and Avery MacDonald; and her brothers, Ronnie Gallant (late Velda) and Bert Gallant (Elsie).
