He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter R. and Josephine Gallant (Blanchard); his parents-in-law, Vincent Gallant and Celina "Lynn" Gallant (Pineau); his siblings, Ferdinand, John, Urban, Gregory and Albina; and his sister-in-law Jillian.

He is survived by: his spouse Wanda of North Rustico; his children, Tommy, Dale (Paula) and Derryl (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Megan (Travis), Kyle (Sydney), Kenneth (Joanie), Samantha (Kevin), Brennen and Amber-Lynn; his brother Arthur; and his siblings-in-law, Vincent, Freda, Edna and Theresa. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
