He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dr. Malcolm Beck and Shirley Beck; his wife Donna; his children, Jaymin Baird (Jonathan), Jeremy Beck (Christine) and William Beck; his granddaughters, Maggie Baird (Chris Coscia), Gabrielle, Alexandra and Julianne Beck; and his siblings, Gordie (Jane), Callum (Lorraine), Rory, Norman (Sharon), Susan Jordan (Cosh) and Nonie Fraser. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, close friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Central Christian Church (223 Kent St, Charlottetown, PE C1A1P1).
