She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie; her parents, Sheldon Smallwood and Annie Smallwood; and her siblings, Ralph, Joe, Shirley Hughes (Billy), Janet Phalen (Billy) and Dianne Smallwood.

She is survived by: her children, Tanya O'Brien (John), Charles (Jessica O'Leary) and Anne (Chris Lund); her grandchildren, Katie Waite (Logan), Hannah O'Brien (Nolan Healy), Alex O'Brien, Emily, Jena and Dryden Mamye; her great grandchild Owen; and her siblings, Teddy Smallwood, Marjorie Gyurus (late Jim), Henry Smallwood (Nancy), David Smallwood (Judy) and Jimmy Smallwood (Diane).

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (151 Stratford Rd, Stratford, PE C1B1H1).

In appreciation for a life well lived, donations to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre in Charlottetown would be appreciated.
