He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Dennis and Betty Dennis; his brother Gordon Dennis; his son-in-law Joey Matheson; his father-in-law Dewar Swan; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Swan and Jim Fay.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his children, Kari Matheson and Michael Dennis; his grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb Matheson; his siblings, Sheila Laird (David), Debbie Dennis and Kim Dennis (Rod MacDonald); and his siblings-in-law, Pauline Scott (Preston), Allison Swan and Beverley Fay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
