He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest MacPhee and Philomena MacPhee; and his siblings, Francis, Russell, Catherine MacPhee and Marie Chapman (Buddy).

He is survived by: his wife Donna Cantwell; his children, Wanda Lee MacPhee (Andrew Kleinknecht), Tony (Jennifer) and Julie Boudreau (Stephen); his stepchildren, Mark and Melanie Cantwell; his sisters, Bernice O'Hanley and Gertrude Woodcock; his sister-in-law Margaret MacPhee; and his close friend Vernon Smith (Anne).
