She was predeceased by: her husband Lester; her son David; her parents, Russell Mason and Mary Jane Mason (Ford); her parents-in-law, Nelson and Anginette Hooper (Proud); her siblings, Eleanor Smith (Lester), Pearl Blackette (Walter), Phyllis Smith (Lloyd), Leila Burke (John) and Clarence Mason; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Mason, Mildred "Mim" Hooper and Dawson "Hoody" Hooper (Ruby).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Judi Hooper (late David); her grandchildren, Kym MacDonald (Chris), Angela Hooper and Andrew Hooper; her great grandchild Maeghan MacDonald; her brother Stanley Mason; her sister-in-law Katheryn Mason; and her nieces and nephews, Debi Voye and Paul Hooper (Anne Marie).
