He was predeceased by: his father Francis Shanahan. He is survived by: his spouse June (Crabbe); his children, Ryan (Jessica) and Megan (Reggie); his mother Uldene MacInnis (Mervin); and his siblings, Frank (Donalda), Carol MacAulay (David), Linda McNeil (Doug), Paul (Sally) and John (Margaret). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
