Catherine Czernik Obituary
We bid farewell to Catherine Czernik (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2025 at the age of 99. Catherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Ksenofont Czernik (Ken); her parents, Andrew Daley and Margaret Daley; and her siblings, Terence, Andrew, Thomas, Maire and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, Natalia Carroll (Don) of Rice Point and Andrew Czernik (Elizabeth White) of Magnetawan, Ontario; her grandchildren, Drew Czernik (Sarah Matthews) of Ottawa and Katie Czernik (Will LePage) of Toronto, Ontario; her great grandchildren, Paige, Luke, Zoe and Quinn; her siblings, Patricia Dawson (Gordon), Brian Daley (Patricia) and Betty Dobbin of Staffordshire, England; and her sister-in-law Irene Daley of Virgil, Ontario. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After Ken died, she moved closer to her son and his family while living independently in Toronto for many years, before resettling during the pandemic in Rice Point, Prince Edward Island, with her daughter and son-in-law.
