He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan (Murray); his daughter Jocelyne Lloyd (Simon); his granddaughters, Grace of Charlottetown and Charlotte Lloyd of Charlottetown; his siblings-in-law, Byron Murray (Kay) and Carol; his parents, Jack Smith and Carolyn Smith (Newman); and his siblings, Newman and Ruth. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
