He was predeceased by: his wife Olive (Doiron); his siblings, Jack, Alwin, Harold, Tommy, James, Johnny, George, Barbara MacDougall, Joan Godfrey, Marion Lowe, Edna Shaw and Florence Trainor; and his parents, John Arthur and Bertha May Lund (Duncan).

He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Ray Postma), Joe (Monique), Charlie, Debbie (Jim Lavers), Don (Patricia), Sheila (Ed MacDonald) and George (Carolina); and his parents-in-law, Linda, John Savidant, Sheila, Loren Allen, Edgar Doiron and Kay Lund (late James). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
