It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Paul Thompson (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Eric and David; and his parents, Yvette Thompson and Stan Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Laura Blystone (Gerry), Tim Thompson (Jiyeon), Grampy of Charlie, Teddy Thompson, Ryan and Coby Blystone; his siblings, Diane Kitching (James) and Brian Thompson (Kathy); his sister-in-law Michelle; his cousin Paul Vidal; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Likely (David), Barbie Allen and Kent Green (Pam).

“Pat and I were very saddened to learn of Charlie's passing. I knew and admired Charlie all my life, and the rest of the Thompson family too. We grew up across the street from each other in Parkdale. He and Debbie raised wonderful children. Tim and Laura are a credit to both parents. As life passed our respective paths kept crossing. We remained friends. As a lawyer Charlie was always a pleasure to work with. Our deepest condolences to Debbie, Laura, Tim and the whole Thompson family.”
