She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Saunders and Raymond Saunders; and her siblings, Helen Saunders, Gary Saunders and Harold Saunders (Alma).

She is survived by: her spouse Lyndon Whitlock; her child Lindsay Whitlock; her siblings, Mary Bernard, Eileen Gallant-Saunders (George Lee), Jerry Saunders (Wanda) and Sheila Bruce (Jim); and her sisters-in-law, Esther Saunders and Trish MacDonald (Bob Atkinson). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
