He was predeceased by: his son Gregory Bernard; his father Albert Knockwood; and his sibling Baby Joey. He is survived by: his spouse Kim; his children, Brandon Knockwood and Brezlin Knockwood (Steff); his grandchildren, Hallie, Eden and Carter; his mother Lucy Knockwood; and his siblings, Joseph "Butch" Knockwood (Mary Ellen), Todd Knockwood (Tanya) and Deborah Knockwood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
