He was predeceased by: his son Wayne; his sister Patricia Hawes (Robert); and his parents, Perley Bruce and Florence Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Leta Marie Bruce; his children, Stephen (Sandra), Kelly Delaney (late Wayne) and Shari Jarvis (Cliff); his siblings-in-law, Thelma Bishop (Jerry), Watson Smith (Charlotte) and Corky Smith (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Shannon Delaney (Jared Laverty), Jeffrey Delaney (Maggie Kellop), Nicholas Young (Stephanie), Christopher Young (Nikita), Jonathan Young (Corry), Cali Duncan (Brandon), Jordan Jarvis, Michael and Brian Bruce.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
