She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Lawrence and Gladys Margaret Fouchere (Farrell); her son Eddie Ramsay; and her brothers, Rudolph and Merrill.

She is survived by: her husband George Johnston; her children, Russell Ramsay (Marina), Norman Ramsay (Nancy), Scottie Ramsay (Pamela) and Brianne Stewart; her daughter-in-law Gwen; her grandchildren, Daryll, Lindsey (Kale), Adam (Emma-Lee), Jerrica, Maverick (Kayla), Hunter, Halle and Alexander; her great grandchildren, Elliot, Emerson, Logan, Lennon, Mya, Delilah and Sage; her sisters-in-law, Mary Petitpas (late Ray), Roxanne Beck (Cameron) and Darlene Simmonds (Donnie); and her pet Archie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
