She was predeceased by: her husband George Alfred "Benny" Larter; her parents, Cornelius Sr. Pater and Gerritje Pater; her siblings, Cornelia Aten and Cornelius Jr.; and also Alvin MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Danny MacDonald (Lisa), Jeanette Wakelin (Kent) and Michelle McAulay (Colin); her grandchildren, Katy McAulay, Krista MacLean (Justin) and Craig MacDonald (Emily); her great grandchild Aiden MacDonald; her siblings, Evelyn Vessey (late Claude), Gerritje VanKampen (late Gijsbertus), Audrey Uyterlinde (late Adrian), Gerrit Pater (Wilma) and John Pater (Jean); and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Pater and Cornelis Aten. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
