He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Thompson and Elizabeth Thompson (Higginbotham); his parents-in-law, Raymond and Marina Henneberry; and his siblings-in-law, Sloane Thompson and Ron Henneberry.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his stepchildren, Janice (Ryan) and Rodney (Brandy); his grandchildren, Charlotte, Brenna, Anika and Mia; his siblings, Dan, Keir, Evelyn (Ed), Sharon (Allen), Lewis and Heather (Andrew); and his sisters-in-law, Paulette (Jack) and Janice (Dale). He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
