She was predeceased by: her husband John Sterling MacEwen; and her parents, John Matheson and Charlotte Matheson (Neale). She is survived by: her children, Randy (Lisa Lamont), Dwayne (Gina Steele), Ian (Charlene Butland), Lisa and Cindy (Jamie Wood); her grandchildren, Madison, Summer, Aurora, Cameron, Evan, Abby, Carter, Deven, Sahara, Keiran and Dayley; her siblings, Carol Girard, Sumner Matheson, Jim Matheson (Patsy) and Keith Matheson; her sister-in-law Mary MacEwen; and her close friend Leonard Gallant. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made to the New Dominion United Cemetery (c/o West River United Church) or to your charity of choice.
