He was predeceased by: his child Terry (Virginia); his parents, Charles MacEachern and Ada MacEachern; and his siblings, Rae Burdett, Isabel Gorveat, Harvey and Murchison MacEachern.

He is survived by: his wife Sylvia MacEachern; his children, Valerie MacEachern (Wilfred), Shelley Somers (Wayne), Gordon MacEachern and Aaron (Colleen Gallant); his grandchildren, Margo MacRae (Kenny), Jennifer Livingston (Will) and Alana Campbell; his stepgrandsons, Jeremy, Mitchell, Jonathan and Lucas Gallant; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Carter, Hunter, Cohen, Layla, Ben, Ty and Colton.
