He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Halvorson and Sarah Halvorson; his parents-in-law, Leon and Vivian Berry; and his brother John Halvorson.
He is survived by: his wife Shawne Halvorson (Berry); his daughters, Erinn Hoffman (Ron) of Halifax and Kim MacLeod (Grant) of Charlottetown; his grandchildren, Matthew Halvorson and Maddy; his daughters, Nate and Ainsley MacLeod; his siblings, Christine Mikalson, Dorothy Larson, Pauline Halvorson and Bob Halvorson; and also, Piero Campanaro, Brian Hills and David Yeo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
