He was predeceased by: his parents, John (JB) and Helen (Wigmore); his parents-in-law, Clara and Wallace; his son Shawn; and his siblings, Carol, David, Walter, Laura and Lawrence.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Korinda (David Wilson) and Mark (Stephanie MacLeod); his grandchildren, Malia and Kaia; his siblings, Heather, Susan (Jim), Myrtle (Alan), Nancy, Rosemary (Marvin), George (Gail), William (Carol-Ann), Ronnie and Roger (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Elayne and Fenton (Marlene). He is also survived by the love of his life who he was married to.

If desired, donations may be made in Eric's name to St. John's Anglican Church.
