Frederick Eardley Hyndman Obituary
We announce the death of Frederick Eardley Hyndman (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 87. Frederick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norah Cecile "Cis" of Georgetown and Frederick Walter Hyndman of Charlottetown; his nephew Matthew Hyndman; his brother-in-law Reverend Canon James Ibbott; his parents-in-law, Benjamin Guy Gamester and Helen Gamester; Walter and Cis.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Helen (Daren Singer) and Norah (Paul McNeill); his grandchildren, Madeline Singer, Carmen and Sam McNeill; and his siblings, Winifred "Nancy" Ibbott of Charlottetown and Dr. John "Joe" Hyndman (Debbi Sullivan) of Halifax. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Provincial Integrated Palliative Care Program or St. Peters Cathedral.
