Gerard Phillippe Melanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerard Phillippe Melanson of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, born in Minto, New Brunswick, who passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Melanson and Florine Melanson (Leger); his wife Gloria Ann Melanson (MacIsaac); and his sisters, Alfreda Cormier and Camilla Melanson.
He is survived by: his children, Gerry Melanson (Caleigh) and Tracy McDonald (Craig); his grandchildren, Willie, Gabby and Makayla; his siblings, Jeannine Brun, Paul Melanson (Giselle) and Vince Melanson (Mandy); and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Cormier, Noreen MacInnis and Paula MacIsaac. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Gerry may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Prince Edward Island.
