It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Joseph Doucette (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on July 20, 2017, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Doucette and Loretta Doucette; and his brothers, James, Aubrey and Hector.

He is survived by: his spouse Helen Doucette; his child Leo Doucette (Chanley); his grandchildren, Katelynn, Natasha and Emily; his great grandchildren, Seirra and Sophie; and his siblings, Wilbert Doucette (Theresa), Julia Bernard (Clifford), Florence Pitre (Nan) and Deborah Gaudet (John).

As an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Provincial Palliative Care would be appreciated.
