He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Smith (Coles); his parents, Lorne Smith and Gladys Smith (White); his sister Belle Buchanan (Roland); and his siblings-in-law, Doris Parkman, Grant Laird, Tom Cryer and Keith Wheatley.
He is survived by: his children, David (Sandra), Donna Murphy (Charles) and Roger (Becky Allain); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin), Kelly, April (Milo), Andrew (Megan), Michelle (Chris), Justin (Shawna), Derek, Brodie (Shea Lynn), Marlee (Mike), Noelle (Jacob), Christian, Alexandra, Lenix, Devon, Brayden, James, Emmit, Brielle, Kashton, Charlie, Jackie, Emma, Jaden, Jayce, Golden and Fennelly; his sister Norma Laird; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Parkman (Roberta), Allison Coles (Linda), Beryl Cryer and Elaine Wheatley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel (15 Ole King Square, Charlottetown, PE C1A1P8).
