He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Sewuster; his granddaughter Lisa Sewuster; and his brothers, Theo Sewuster and Henk Sewuster. He is survived by: his children, Lia Sewuster (Greg Gentle), John Sewuster (Carole Cooley), Halifax, Wilma Arsenault (Kevin) and Henry Sewuster (Pauline).
