We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2026, at the age of 86, Hilda Gertrude MacLaren in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Hilda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hilda. Though Hilda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dingwell Funeral Home (3 Washington St, Souris, PE C0A2B0). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peters Roman Catholic Church (1843 Greenwich Rd, St Peter's Bay, PE C0A2A0).
If so desired, donations in memory of Hilda can be made to the Eastern Kings Health Foundation (Souris Hospital).
