He was predeceased by: his wife Vera Dingwell; his parents, Howard Gallant and Vera O'Brien; and his siblings, Mae and Raymond.
He is survived by: his close friend Rusty Keenan; his siblings, Douglas Murl, Jack Murl, David Murl and Brenda Gallant; and also, Brenda Perry (David) of Trail, Shelly Doyle, Sandra Jamieson, Vernon Doyle of Charlottetown and Vince Doyle of Ontario.
