She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas AC MacDonald. She is survived by: her children, Imelda, Rhonda, Bill (Indy), Shawn (Dana), Andrea (Rocky), David and Blaine; and her friend Joan McKay. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and assorted in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada her honour is welcome.
