He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorna; his parents, Douglas Docherty and Teresa Docherty; his children, Mark (Lindsay), Marlo and Lori; his grandchildren, Harrison, Lauren, Briar and Mairin; his siblings, Roger (Janet), Vernon (Sharon), Kevin, Mary MacKinnon (Reg), Darlene MacKay (Harold), Gloria Newman (Floyd) and Anita MacDonald (Rabbit); his brothers-in-law, Donnie MacLean, Heath (Marilyn) and Robert (Shelley); and his former wife Glenda. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irwin may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
