He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Deighan and Margaret Deighan (Farmer). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Deighan; his children, Pat (Meghann) and Ashley (Andrew); and his siblings, Joe (Bonnie), Mike (Connie), Kevin (Lisa), Virginia, Marie (late Jim) and Joanne (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
