He was predeceased by: his sons, Matthew and Jordan Campbell. He is survived by: his close friend Angela Shea; his children, Melanie Barnes (Dave), Stephanie Amlani (Hash) and Lindsay Sanderson (David Gaudet); his grandchildren, Thais Gibson, Sjorland Gibson, Macaella Sanderson, Aiden Amlani, Elliott and Delilah-Grace Gaudet; his aunts, Maud MacNeill and Doris Ewart; and his siblings, Don Campbell (Susan), Mary Bergen, George Campbell (Maureen) and Pamela Campbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
