She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ramsay and Helen Ramsay (Gordon); her former husband George "Chick" Burnett; her husband Rev. James Farris; her son Don; and her brother Gordon Ramsay.

She is survived by: her children, Niall (Cathy), Katherine, Peter (Debbie) and Laurie (Doug Caldwell); and her stepchildren, Mona Denton, Peter Farris-Manning and Kevin Farris. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four great step-grandchildren and Mary Burnett, a special friend and sister-in-law.

A reception will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Kirk.
