Jean Marie (McGaugh) Doherty Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2021, Jean Marie (McGaugh) Doherty (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), born in Souris, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin McGaugh and Joan McGaugh; and her parents-in-law, Ivan and Lois Doherty. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Jeff (Katie Rossiter), Robbie (Jill) and Haley (Jacob Howard); her siblings, Donna (Brian Waddell) and Fabian (Sandy Pratt); her siblings-in-law, Patsy (David Smith) and Bobby (Joanne); and her stepmother-in-law Audrey Doherty. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, treasured cousin, and valued friend.

In lieu of sending flowers, we encourage you to plant your own in memory of Jean with hopes they bring you the same special joy and pleasure as they did for her. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or to the PEI Literacy Alliance.
